Speaking after a game in which his goal made the vital difference, Barcelona forward Ansu Fati has warned that there is a long way to go this season and that no one should count the Catalans out just yet.
The 19-year-old's excellent, improvised half-volley gave the Blaugrana three points against Dynamo Kyiv and, although the performance wasn't sparkling, the victory was huge.
"We know we have to improve and work [in order] to do that, the Champions League is very difficult and we have to be ready, the same goes for LaLiga Santander," said Ansu Fati.
"Everything is proving difficult for us but we need to look ahead.
"Last year we almost won the league. It's a long season and I think there's time for everything."
Dedicated to Aguero
While Ansu is back from a long spell on the sidelines, fellow forward Sergio Aguero suffered a worrying setback at the weekend and the teenager dedicated his goal to his veteran teammate. The youngster performed Aguero's trademark celebration after netting against Dynamo in tribute to the Argentine.
"That was for Kun [Aguero], for what he's been through the past week," said Fati.
"He's a player who gives us a lot. He's going to be out for a while.
"This victory is for him and we hope he recovers soon."
The victory, courtesy of Fati's goal, means Barcelona's Champions League destiny is in their own hands and he knows the importance of that.
"It was a good win, we're very happy, we're going to keep fighting," said Fati.
"It's in our own hands. We've got to play Benfica and Bayern and we'll give it everything."
It's a time of change at the club, but for Ansu the mentality stays the same and he insists the squad are all on the same page.
"The players are all united, we have the fans and we try to give our best," said Fati.
