Pep Guardiola was at the preview of the Puma Legends Trophy tournament at Pula Golf Resort, Mallorca, where he spoke about various sporting topics, including his former club Barcelona.

He is sure that Robert Lewandowski would adapt to Barcelona's game, amid recent speculation, but he doesn't know if the Catalan club can sign him given the difficult economic situation they are going through.

"I have no idea, to be honest, but would he be a good fit? We are talking about Lewandowski," he said.

"He would adapt perfectly well anywhere. But I don't know if Barcelona can sign him because of their financial situation or if Bayern [Munich] will let him leave."

Guardiola is a big fan of Gavi and believes there is big hope at Barcelona.

"He is fantastic," he said of Gavi.

"Just like Ansu Fati or Pedri.

"They show that there is a lot of future and very good work [being done] in the youth system."

Regarding Xavi Hernandez's progress as Barcelona coach, Guardiola praised his former colleague.

"I don't know the circumstances, but I think he has certainly done a good job," he said.

But on Kylian Mbappe's ordeal, Guardiola wasn't keen to speak.

"No comment," he responded.
