Riqui Puig is set to leave Barcelona, with negotiations over his departure at an advanced stage whilst the club is also working hard to find new teams for Neto, Martin Braithwaite and Samuel Umtiti.
Puig, who joined Barcelona in 2014, hasn't yet agreed a deal with MLS club LA Galaxy but talks are said to have progressed well, reportedly for a three-year contract.
Some sources say that it is a matter of hours before his departure is finalised as Puig, who is soon to turn 23 years old, hasn't been able to establish himself as a first-team player at Camp Nou.
The midfielder made the leap to the first team in the 2018/19 season, under Ernesto Valverde, but has not had continuity with any of the coaches he has had, despite being one of their most highly-touted youth players.
The midfield competition in the squad has been very intense and he's made 57 appearances since his debut.
Puig's contract expires in 2023, but the club has offered to release him in exchange for a potential future sell-on fee.
His agent has been seen in the last hours with Barcelona executives in the Catalan facilities to close his spell as a player there.
Barcelona also hope to confirm the exits of Neto, Braithwaite and Umtiti. Xavi has already told the trio he is happy for them to move on.
Their agents and the club are looking for solutions, including, in some cases, the possibility of releasing them.
Other players, such as Memphis Depay, Segino Dest and Miralem Pjanic, do not have their continuity assured either, although their outlooks are more positive.
