After a rather disappointing 2-2 draw at home to Stuttgart, Bayern Munich got their hands on the Bundesliga trophy again, celebrating becoming champions for the tenth consecutive year.
The truth is that the title was already wrapped up some time ago. Bayern are 10 points ahead of Borussia Dortmund with just one game to play in the Bundesliga season.
While the home side had nothing left to play for, the visitors are fighting for their lives and they got off to a good start. Young Portuguese forward Tiago Tomas, on loan from Sporting CP, gave Stuttgart the lead at the Allianz Arena in the eighth minute.
Bayern responded however and goals from Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller had them in a more familiar winning position before the break.
Stuttgart weren't done fighting however, and Sasa Kalajdzic earned them a point by equalising in the 52nd minute.
The point all but saves Stuttgart from automatic relegation and with a bit of luck they may yet avoid the relegation playoff as well.
