West Ham are ready to take their business elsewhere as they struggle to reach an agreement for Eintracht Frankfurt's Filip Kostic.

Arthur Masuaku is close to agreeing a deal to leave West Ham for Besiktas on a season-long loan and boss David Moyes is seeking reinforcements.

Talks remain ongoing with Lille for Adama Onana.

But Moyes has dismissed links with Benfica midfielder Julian Weigl as West Ham look to bolster their options with the season only days away.

It had been reported that West Ham had approached the Portuguese club for the former Borussia Dortmund player but those links are wide of the mark, as confirmed by Moyes.

A move for Angelino, the RB Leipzig left wing-back who departed Manchester City for the Bundesliga outfit, is also unlikely with Moyes distancing the club from the links.

Angelino is likely to prove expensive for any potential suitor, with the defender having a contract at the German club until 2025 and having been one of their best performers last term.

West Ham will continue to explore the market as they look to build on their strong campaign under Moyes last term. It is possible that the club could yet move for wantaway Burnley forward Maxwel Cornet.

The Ivorian is seeking a move back to the Premier League after being relegated with the Lancashire club last season.

Everton and Newcastle have expressed an interest but as yet no club has been forthcoming with the £17.5million the Clarets price the player at.

Vincent Kompany last week said the player could play a part for Burnley moving forward this month, with the club keen to use the player should he stick around and prove his fitness.
