Just four days before Luis Enrique's first major 'final' at the helm of his new project at Paris Saint-Germain, the Asturian coach completely overhauled a line-up that radically changed what he had been operating with before the international break. 

PSG beat Strasbourg convincingly at the Parc des Princes and did so with some unexpected protagonists, who shone with their own light and who have their eyes firmly on Paris. 

Luis Enrique opted to bring on Kang In Lee, Fabián Ruiz and Carlos Soler in the midfield, giving the team a 180-degree turn. It was a change that worked wonders and, accompanied by an effective Kylian Mbappé up front, they passed the test with flying colours ahead of Wednesday's big Champions League game against AC Milan. 

Of all the new additions, the highlight was the Spanish pairing of Fabian Ruiz and Carlos Soler, the latter who is tipped to be leaving in January. Both drove the pace of the game for a PSG side that dominated from start to finish and finally convinced in front of their home fans. 

A display that now opens up debate ahead of the Champions League clash in which the Parisians can do nothing other than take the three points if they do not want to see their situation become dire after the heavy defeat they suffered a few weeks ago against Newcastle.  

"Winning bet" is the headline in France in relation to the Spanish duo's entry, which was accompanied by the other big news of the afternoon in Paris. Kang In Lee was another of the pleasant surprises in the eleven, playing a great game and claiming a place in an eleven that is becoming increasingly expensive. 

In the attacking line, the introduction of Barcola for Dembélé was the only major novelty introduced by Luis Enrique, although it could be read more as a rest after the minutes added with the national team, rather than a variant to be taken into account for the moment. 

PSG and Luis Enrique are facing the first big moment of the season and it seems that the Asturian is ready to turn everything upside down in order to save what could be the first big crisis, if the Parisians fail to beat the Rossoneri at the Parc des Princes. 

Against Strasbourg the revolution had an effect. We will see if in the Champions League and with the project at stake, Lucho opts for continuity or returns to the starting eleven.
