Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani, a Qatari royal and cousin to the Emir, has sent a message to Real Madrid with a social media post claiming that Paris Saint-Germain are immune to media pressure.

Kylian Mbappe reportedly wants a move to the Spanish capital and Los Blancos' interest is no secret, but, with the backing of a state, the French club are under no pressure to sell.

"Media pressure... it doesn't work with the richest club on the planet..." tweeted Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani.

Accompanying his tweet, he used the image of the MARCA front page mentioning Real Madrid's wait for Mbappe, which has attracted a lot of attention in Qatar.

The message from the Qatari royal family - who own PSG - is clear. They won't be pressured into selling Mbappe on anyone's terms but their own.

The money behind PSG changes the rules, as there is no need for them to sell and no consequence to missing out on a potentially massive fee.

Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani is an active social media user, stepping out from the shadow of privacy that usually surrounds the Qatari royals.
