Diego Simeone snubs handshake with Jurgen Klopp AGAIN after his Atletico side lost at Anfield with the Argentine standing by his stance on the 'false' gesture... but the Liverpool boss insists his decision is 'no problem'
- Jurgen Klopp was snubbed again by Diego Simeone after Liverpool beat Atletico
- The Reds secured a place in the last-16 with a 2-0 win over the LaLiga outfit
- The German was told by the Argentine he would not shake his hand at full time
- He followed through on that vow, but Klopp said his decision was 'not a problem'
- Simeone claimed this week the gesture is 'fake' after similar snub last month
Simeone sparked huge controversy by refusing to embrace the German last month after the Reds won 3-2 in Madrid, storming back into the dressing room, but has since reiterated his belief that the gesture is 'fake' because two managers are in 'different emotional minds' after a game.
He had warned in the build up to the second game that he would snub the handshake once again, saying he was aware it was common in England but insisted he 'did not like' it, and at full time he disppeared while Klopp celebrated the victory with his players.

The Argentine has come under fire for his stance on the gesture, which he believes is 'fake'
Klopp said he held nothing against Simeone after the game, admitting he had overreacted following the first game when the Argentine first snubbed him - but said he now respected his decision.
'After the game in Madrid, I wasn't happy with my reaction either,' he said after Liverpool's crucial win at Anfield.
'Making a mistake is not a problem... learning from it is the target.
'I learn... if he doesn't want to have a handshake, that's no problem. I respect pretty much everything in life. But I didn't know in that moment - so that's why I did what I did. And now, everything's calm and how it should be.'
Just as in the first game, Simeone headed straight down the tunnel as Liverpool celebrated
Klopp said 'everything was calm' with Simeone and that he had no problem with his decision
In his press conference before the game, Simeone had explained his stance and insisted he had big respect for Klopp.
'I don't like the greeting after the match because they are the emotions of two sides in different emotional minds.
'I know in the UK it is a custom but I don't share it and I don't like the falseness it may include.
Simeone has shaken hands with Klopp in the past but now believes it carries 'falseness' because both coaches are in 'different emotional minds' at full time
'I don't know Klopp as a person very well but I know he is a great coach who has done great work at every club he has been at.'
Goals from Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota made it a special night for the Reds - with Trent Alexander-Arnold setting up both goals - while defender Felipe was sent off for the Madrid outfit.
Liverpool are now guaranteed a place in the knockouts, while Atletico face a battle with Porto to qualify.
