Nottingham Forest will be sent recordings of conversations between referee Anthony Taylor and VAR Stuart Attwell from their defeat by Everton by PGMOL over the next few days, and the audio could be broadcast publicly when the next Referees Mic'd Up programme airs next week. 

Mail Sport has learned that one of Forest's three penalty appeals which were not referred to VAR by Taylor is likely to feature in next week's show, in which PGMOL chief Howard Webb and Michael Owen analyse recent refereeing decisions in the Premier League.

Forest demanded that audio recordings of the three incidents be made public in a series of extraordinary statements released on Monday, which could see the club, manager Nuno Espirito Santos, defender Neco Williams and refereeing consultant Mark Clattenburg all charged by the FA. 

While PGMOL are unhappy with Forest's conduct in seemingly questioning the integrity of Attwell they will comply with the club's request for the audio of his conversations with Taylor, as they would with any club.

PGMOL also remain committed to the policy of providing greater transparency which was introduced when Webb joined from Major League Soccer last season, with the result that one of the incidents is likely to be discussed on Mic'd Up.

There are no current plans to release all of the audio publicly however, as PGMOL did last October following Liverpool's defeat by Tottenham when VAR officials Darren England and Dan Cook failed to overturn an offside decision as they mistakenly believed that Luis Diaz's goal had been awarded on the field by referee Simon Hooper.

The Mic'd Up programme on Sky Sports and TNT Sport which started this season features Webb and Owen analysing between four and six controversial incidents. 

The next show is due to be recorded next Monday and will be broadcast the following day.

Forest were furious at being denied three penalties in the defeat at Goodison Park, particularly the third incident in which Taylor appeared to miss a foul by Ashley Young on Callum Hudson-Odoi which Attwell chose not to review.

PGMOL declined to comment.
