Gabby Agbonlahor has poked fun at Gary Neville after Man United's 4-0 defeat at Crystal Palace as he posted a meme mocking the pundit.

United slipped to yet another embarrassing loss at Selhurst Park as a double from Michael Olise and goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell heaped pressure on Erik ten Hag

Man United legend Neville is often scathing of his old side after a bad defeat and is usually seen in the Sky Sports studio for Monday Night Football - but was missing for the game as his colleague Jamie Carragher and ex-team-mate Ashley Young covered the match instead.

But Neville's absence didn't stop former Villa striker Agbonlahor from teasing the pundit over the result and his past criticisms of the team.

The 37-year-old, who now works as a pundit for talkSport, posted a meme onto his Instagram page which had the words 'Gary Neville' written at the top.

It then shows a cartoon of a man riding a bicycle holding a wooden stick, before placing the stick in the middle of the front wheel and falling off.

The man is shown wincing in pain on the floor with a speech mark bubble reading: 'F***ing Glazers'.

Agbonlahor then wrote a simple caption saying: 'Glazers out!' with a tongue sticking out emoji.

This is not the first time Agbonlahor has stuck the boot into Neville.

Last year he claimed the former right-back was the player he enjoyed playing against most - which earned the wrath of the Salford City owner.

Agbonlahor has previously suggested he enjoyed playing against Neville while at Aston Villa - with the pundit calling him a 'cheeky b*****d'

'He slags me off every week on that radio show,' Neville fumed on a recording of his podcast The Overlap, after Roy Keane had jokingly picked out Agbonlahor as his toughest ever opponent.

'He will be asked who was the player that you'd like to play against most and he'll go, "You know what? It was Gary Neville at Manchester United." You cheeky b*****d. You didn't win one against us in 25 years!'

Agbonlahor enjoyed seeing Neville wound up as he reposted his quotes on social media and wrote: 'Well that's a massive nibble... Truth hurts gaaarrryyyy!'

He then added: 'Freedom of speech and all that.'

Agbonlahor - who played 391 times for Aston Villa, scoring 87 times - wasn't satisfied at just teasing Neville on Monday as he also goaded his former Red Devils team-mate Rio Ferdinand.

He reposted a clip of the ex-defender making a prediction about United's top four hopes at the start of the year, where Ferdinand bullishly claimed his former side would 'be there' among the coveted places.

Posting a simple smiley face emoji, he shared a video of a confident Ferdinand insisting the Red Devils would not just 'creep in' to the top four.

'Who said sneak in?' he said on the TNT broadcast. 'Man United will be there.'

It then shows fellow pundit Jermaine Jenas questioning him on his  take, as he says : 'Do you honestly believe what you're saying?'

United are currently eighth after their latest loss to Palace and have no hopes of playing Champions League football next season - with Erik ten Hag's men 16 points adrift of fourth-placed Aston Villa.
