Kieran McKenna - who has overseen back-to-back promotions as manager of Ipswich Town - is the 4/6 favourite to be the next Brighton manager following news that the Seagulls and Roberto De Zerbi have parted ways by mutual consent.
De Zerbi experienced a red-hot start with the Seagulls - guiding his side to a top six finish in 2022-23 and securing European football for the first time in the club's history.
Additionally, Brighton reached the FA Cup semi-final in De Zerbi's first season - going down on penalties to Manchester United.
Kieran McKenna is a 4/6 favourite to be the next Brighton manager, while Graham Potter is 6/1
However, with European football comes a more gruelling schedule. And it appears as though that hampered Brighton this season - as they went through multiple lean periods.
The end of their season was particularly poor - as they won just one of their last ten games to finish 11th in the table.
Despite their less than stellar play in 2023-24, De Zerbi has been linked with plenty of high profile jobs in recent months - with the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona just a couple of the big-name clubs who have reportedly expressed interest in appointing the 44-year-old.
Returning to who will be De Zerbi's successor, it is Southampton boss Russell Martin who is 5/1 second-favourite behind McKenna. Martin has the Championship play-off final to look forward to on Sunday, when they play Leeds United with a place in the Premier League on the line.
Meanwhile, De Zerbi's predecessor at Brighton Graham Potter is the third-favourite in the market at 6/1.
For those after an outsider, Nice boss Francesco Farioli and Luton's Rob Edwards round out the five favourites, with the pair priced 7/1 and 9/1 respectively.
Sky Bet favourites to be the next Brighton manager:
Kieran McKenna 4/6
Russell Martin 5/1
Graham Potter 6/1
Francesco Farioli 7/1
Rob Edwards 9/1
