Eden Hazard isn't working out at Real Madrid. Even though the forward has put his serious injuries behind him, he isn't making it into Carlo Ancelotti's starting line-up.

It's time for the 30-year-old to think about a transfer away from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and he has received a surreal proposal from a team in his native Belgium.

KVC Westerlo are currently in the second division of Belgian football and are owned by Turkish businessman Oktay Ercan, who is keen to invest in the club and lead them to success.

They are set for promotion as they have a 10-point lead at the top of the second division and sporting director Hasan Cetinkaya would love to sign Hazard.

"I think I can consider Eden Hazard a friend, as I first met him when he was at Lille," Cetinkaya said in an interview Het Nieuwsblad.

"He promised me that one day he would play for Fenerbahce. To get him to come to KVC Westerlo would be more difficult, but you never know. He might come and finish his career here."

While Hazard might not be ready to return to Belgium at the age of 30, he knows his future surely lies away from Real Madrid and will be scanning the market for the right landing spot.
