Vinicius Junior has been named by LaLiga Santander as the league's Player of the Month for November following his displays against Rayo Vallecano, Granada and Sevilla.

The Brazilian forward was rated higher than players such as Memphis Depay, Oscar Trejo and Antoine Griezmann, and will receive the prize before the derby between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid on Sunday at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Vinicius has netted a grand total of 12 goals thus far in 2021/22 and has also registered seven assists. He is currently LaLiga Santander's second-top scorer (10) behind his teammate Karim Benzema (12).
