Valencia didn't take too kindly to the decision to award a penalty to Real Madrid from which Karim Benzema opened the scoring on Saturday evening, expressing their frustration on Twitter.

Benzema bagged his 300th goal as a Los Blancos player after Alejandro Hernandez Hernandez blew for a foul on Casemiro.

"The robberies in Madrid are beginning to become somewhat repetitive," Valencia's official Spanish-language Twitter account wrote, tagging in the official account for the hit TV series 'Money Heist'.

The tweet was posted without open replies being permitted.

Pique responds

Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique, never one to shy away from controversy, offered his thoughts on the matter.

"Don't say it too loud or you will be fined," he tweeted, accompanied by a 'shh' emoji.
