Kylian Mbappe rolled his eyes and stormed out of an interview in the wake of PSG's Champions League exit against Borussia Dortmund.

The Frenchman was asked if he will be supporting Real Madrid when they take on Bayern Munich in their semi-final second leg on Wednesday night.

Mbappe is due to join Madrid in the summer after years of flirtation, meaning Tuesday night's loss with PSG marks his final foray into Europe with his beloved club. 

He was clearly in no mood to talk about switching his affections, giving a blank facial expression and wandering off when asked about Madrid.

Madrid will face Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu having drawn 2-2 in the first leg in Germany.

While they are searching for their 15th Champions League title, PSG are yet to harness their first and it has been a painful few years for them and Mbappe.

Borussia Dortmund were not even fancied to emerge from their group of PSG, Newcastle, and AC Milan, but they beat the French capital side 1-0 in both legs to advance.

It means that Mbappe's seven seasons at the Parc des Princes will end with just one Champions League final reached and zero triumphs.

Paris Saint-Germain had 30 shots and 70 per cent of the ball against Borussia Dortmund, hitting the woodwork four times, but couldn't find a way past their opponents. 

Luis Enrique has experience of winning the Champions League as a manager with Barcelona but has become the latest PSG boss to be frustrated by Europe's premier competition.

He was unable to get the most out of a talented PSG outfit who are leading Ligue 1 at a canter, nine points ahead of Monaco with a game in hand.

Their quarter-final overhaul against Barcelona showed all the promise they needed to take inspiration against Dortmund, who hadn't reached a final since 2013 and are fifth in the Bundesliga.
