Juventus haven't had the best of starts to this Serie A season, but Italy boss Roberto Mancini believes that they cannot be written off in the title race just yet.
Massimiliano Allegri's return to the bench at the Allianz Stadium over the summer, replacing Andrea Pirlo, had many expecting to see the Bianconeri get right back on track and look to reclaim their crown from Inter.
Juventus' low point of the season so far came as they suffered a first-ever home loss to Serie A newcomers Empoli, though they have started to get some wins under their belt domestically by seeing off both Spezia and Sampdoria, albeit in unconvincing fashion.
But their impressive surprise 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Champions League in midweek has changed some opinions in Italy, with many people starting to believe that Allegri's side are finding their rhythm, including the Italy boss.
"Juventus will be back," Mancini said on BoboTV, Christian Vieri's Twitch channel.
"But there are seven or eight teams fighting at the top. It's a fun season, and the teams are all trying to play well. That's a good sign for me."
Mancini was also asked by Vieri about his current situation in charge of the Azzurri, and if he misses the daily life of coaching a club side.
"Do I miss it? A little bit of the everyday life, yes," Mancini said. "But when it's like this [with a lot of international football], in recent months, a little less.
"Then five months have to pass [without international football] and it's a little more difficult."
