Laura Woods will make her return to television following her freak accident, after ITV revealed details of their Euro 2024 coverage.

The presenter was forced to pull out of the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk fight after suffering gruesome cuts to her arms and face when 'swinging a pillow into a glass lampshade'.

ITV though have revealed that she and Mark Pougatch will be on presenting duty throughout the upcoming tournament in Germany.

They also confirmed Mail Sport's report that Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou will be part of their punditry line-up, beating out the BBC to his services this summer.

Postecoglou, a student of the game, is viewed as a private figure away from the game and his opinions may well give the broadcaster the edge over BBC

Their star-studded punditry team also includes Graeme Souness, Ian Wright, Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Eni Aluko, Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl, Karen Carney and refereeing analyst Christina Unkel.

ITV's commentary will come from Sam Matterface, Clive Tyldesley, Seb Hutchinson, Pien Meulensteen and Joe Speight, supported by co-commentators Lee Dixon, Ally McCoist, and Andros Townsend.

It comes after the BBC also announced their team on Wednesday, which includes Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, Brentford boss Thomas Tuchel and now former West Ham manager David Moyes.

ITV will host the first game of the tournament between Germany and Scotland in Munich on June 14, as well as England's final group game against Slovenia on June 25.

Another notable group stage game they will present is Spain vs Italy on June 20.

They will have the first three picks of the Round of 16 as well as the first-pick of games for the semi-finals.

Live games and highlights will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITV4 and simulcast on ITVX, as well as across STV and STV Player

Mail Sport reported that the BBC and ITV had both been going head-to-head to secure Jurgen Klopp as a pundit, with the 56-year-old having stepped down as Liverpool boss on Sunday.

Both are thought to have missed out on Klopp, who will instead head to the tournament in his home nation as a fan.

Mail Sport revealed on Tuesday that ITV appear to have the upper hand as they bid to secure Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou as a pundit for the tournament.

Postecoglou will be viewed as a hot ticket after an entertaining first season at Tottenham.

Detailing the incident that led to her injuries, Woods revealed that she was lucky that the falling glass missed her eye.

'I swung a pillow and hit a large, glass lampshade hanging from the ceiling above me, which shattered and cut my face and arms, but luckily missed my eye.' She wrote on Instagram.

'I wanted to say a couple of thank yous, firstly to Adam, for being my hero that day, acting so quickly and not leaving my side since and to his family for taking care of me in a time when I was petrified.

'To my agents Alex Maguire and Matthew Odonohue at CAA who searched for the best help immediately. To Dr Yannis Alexandrides and his wonderful medical assistant Zuzanna at 111 who opened their emergency surgery and came in on their days off, they were so gentle and have already worked magic that I didn’t think was possible to reduce the damage.

'I’ve added in the photos from then to now to show that even though it may look rough, it’s such a wonderful improvement already and I’m so grateful.

'It was a hell of a shock and I’ve been a bit sad, but I’m feeling very lucky it wasn’t worse. So a big thanks to my eyebrow too, for taking the brunt of it.'
