England U19 international Keira Flannery has signed her first professional contract with West Ham while joining Championship side Reading on loan for the rest of the season.
Flannery, who made her debut for the club in September 2022, has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Hammers.
After agreeing her new terms, the defensive midfielder later joined the Royals on a loan deal before this evening’s transfer deadline.
Flannery, who turned 18 in September, previously spent seven years with Arsenal’s academy but left to join West Ham at the age of 16.
The youngster grew up supporting the Hammers and is a season ticket holder for the men’s side.

When Flannery joined the club she elected the No 41 shirt in honour of her idol, Declan Rice - the Hammers’ former captain.
The midfielder has previously spent time on loan with Gillingham and will look to gain experience after joining second tier side Reading.
The Royals are currently ninth in the Championship, having won two, drawn six and lost four of their 12 games this season.
Elsewhere, Chelsea defender Cerys Brown will spend the remainder of the season on loan with Watford.
