Kai Havertz and Reece James lead the way for Chelsea despite Everton draw, Gabriel Martinelli shines for Arsenal and Harry Kane is the calm among the storm for Spurs... but can anyone knock Bukayo Saka off the top in this week's POWER RANKINGS?

Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to eight points on Sunday with a comfortable 4-1 win over manageress Crystal Palace.

The Gunners have too many stars to name amid their impressive run this season, and seem set to at least push Manchester City all the way as the Premier League prepares for its final stretch of the season.

With several teams in FA Cup action it was a chance for others to take advantage and get points on the board as the title race, run in for Europe and fight for survival all remain tight.

Some, such as Aston Villa and Leeds, took the opportunity, while others, including Chelsea and Tottenham, faltered.

Graham Potter's side threw away two leads to draw at home to Everton, while Spurs led Southampton 3-1 with 15 minutes to go and ended up taking home only a point.

Chelsea's Graham Potter, however, faced more jeers from his own fans as the Blues drew with Everton

Villa beat Bournemouth 3-0, while Wolves fell to a 4-2 defeat at home to Leeds in a game that saw them lose two players to red cards.

Brentford and Leicester, meanwhile, shared the points before Arsenal closed out the weekend on Sunday.

Now that the dust has settled, who makes Sportsmail's Power Rankings this week as football heads into the last international break of the season?

10. Emiliano Martinez (new entry)

Aston Villa have been somewhat of a rocky ship since Unai Emery took over from Steven Gerrard earlier on this season, with inconsistent performances costing them a spot a bit higher up the table.

One would be forgiven, therefore, for suggesting Bournemouth could prove to be a potential banana skin this weekend, as the Villains took on the Cherries at Villa Park.

It turned out to be anything but. A 3-0 win solidified the side's position in mid-table and though the attacking players may have done the business at the top end of the pitch, Emiliano Martinez was on form in goal to keep his side's clean sheet in tact and ensure it was a relatively stress-free day for Villa.

The World Cup winner made three saves in the game, at one point tipping a fine free kick from Philip Billing over the bar and earning a big hug from team-mate Matty Cash.

He once again proved why he's one of the best in the world at the back for Villa.

9. Reece James (new entry)

James has endured a difficult season with Chelsea due to injury and his side's poor form, but he seems fit again and ready to see the season out as Graham Potter's oufit try to salvage what they can from this campaign.

A 2-2 draw at home to Everton is disappointing and was met by boos from the Stamford Bridge crowd yet again, but James shone in his preferred role on Saturday evening.

Potter has revered to a back-three system in recent times and has been able to get the best out of wing-backs James and Ben Chilwell, who looked the Blues' most important players against Everton.

James did well to earn the penalty Kai Havertz scored to put Chelsea 2-1 up, but was just unable to rely on the rest of his defence to help keep out Ellis Simms' equaliser.

8. Alexis Mac Allister (down three)

Falling down the list only due to Brighton's break from league action this weekend, Alexis Mac Allister remains vital to the Seagulls and in red-hot form.

He's thrived since moving into an advanced role under Roberto de Zerbi, and now plays the most important position in the Italian's set-up.

There was no goal for him against Grimsby in the FA Cup, but he set up Evan Ferguson's first goal before being subbed to enjoy an early break ahead of international duty with world champions Argentina.

7. James Ward-Prowse (new entry)

If Southampton get a set-piece, James Ward-Prowse is on it, and that was no different at the weekend.

The midfielder scored a 93rd minute penalty to earn his side a point against Tottenham as they came from 3-1 down to trigger Antonio Conte's extraordinary outburst and remain in the hunt for survival.

Ward-Prowse had missed his two penalties taken this season before Saturday, but he slotted home against best friend Fraser Forster on this occasion.

By far and away Southampton's most important player for the rest of the campaign.

The result triggered an extraordinary outburst from Spurs manager Antonio Conte

6. Leandro Trossard (down two)

Trossard has slotted into Arsenal's system like he's been there years, and claimed another assist against Crystal Palace in the Gunners' 5-1 win.

The Belgian works really well in the false nine role for Arsenal, regularly swapping with Gabriel Martinelli.

He made way to allow Gabriel Jesus some more minutes upon his return to injury and received a round of applause from the Emirates faithful when leaving the field in the second half.

Trossard has given Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta a positive headache to sort out after the internationals.

5. Kai Havertz (new entry)

Chelsea seem to have found their goal scoring touch in recent weeks after months of struggle and Havertz has been central to that.

He scored from the spot to put the side 2-1 up against Everton, but his defenders were unable to help him and see out the one-goal lead.

He had the most goal attempts of any player in the league over the weekend, the most shots in the box and the most shots on target as he looks to finally be settling at the club.

Whether it's through the middle or just off the forward, Havertz is finding his feet as Chelsea try and salvage their season.

4. Ollie Watkins (up two)

Ollie Watkins didn't make the England squad but he put in another positive showing up front for Villa.

He's been one of the form forwards in the league under Unai Emery and claimed an assist for Jacob Ramsey's goal agaisnt Bournemouth.

He's just what Emery needs up front to make his team tick, and he could be set for a successful season next year once Emery is afforded the benefit of a pre-season.

The striker should be fresh and ready to go again after the two-week break.

3. Harry Kane (non-mover)

Tottenham and Conte may be struggling but Kane isn't, still scoring goals despite the chaos that is going on all around him.

He netted Spurs' second goal of their draw with Southampton to extend his lead as the club's all-time leading scorer, and continues to prove a reliable forward and one of the best in the world in his position.

He now has a two week break from Tottenham and can join up with his England side ahead of games against Italy and Ukraine.

Harry Kane remains the calm among the storm at Tottenham and scored again on Saturday

2. Gabriel Martinelli (non-mover)

Gabriel Martinelli had scored four goals in his last four Premier League games before the Palace fixture, and it's now five in five,

He took that tally to five with a cool finish for Arsenal's opener in their 4-1 win over Crystal Palace, and looks as good as ever ahead of the home stretch.

Despite having played 120 minutes in the Europa League on Thursday and missing the decisive penalty, the forward was on-form and bounced back from the disappointment to help his side to victory.

He's not been called up to the Brazil squad for the international break, so has two weeks to rest and recuperate before the Gunners' game against Leeds.

Gabriel Martinelli continued his fine form for Arsenal with another goal against Crystal Palace

1. Bukayo Saka (non-mover)

There's no question of whether Bukayo Saka is the man in north London this season and he's up to the top of our power rankings after his double in Arsenal's win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The winger helped fire the Gunners eight points clear at the top of the Premier League as the division prepares for its final stretch of the season.

After setting up Martinelli for the first, the England man fired in two of his own to send the Emirates faithful into the international break happy.

Still just 21, Saka is Mr Reliable for Mikel Arteta and almost their talisman up front.

He too will now join up with Gareth Southgate's side and is almost guaranteed the start both games on the right.
