Thierry Henry rolled back the years with a series of impressive finishes during France's training session ahead of the Olympics

The 46-year-old will manage the French men's football team at this summer's Olympic Games in his home city.

France will face the USA, Guinea and New Zealand in the group stage of the tournament, which will begin on July 24 and end on August 9.

Ahead of the start of the tournament in a week, Henry joined his players in a training session and proved he still has the quality that saw him score 360 career goals.

He first scored a penalty with his iconic 'fake pass' trick, with the goalkeeper left helpless and rooted to the spot.

Fans took to social media to laud the Arsenal legend, with many commenting 'class is permanent'.

One said: 'Good players never fade.. Henry still one of the best strikers ever.'

Another wrote: 'That second finish will tell you about how class of a player he is'.

A third joked: 'Stop showing out against ur players bro. Some man still can’t do this at 24/25 and ur doing this at 46'.

Former striker Henry has named an 18-man squad for the Olympics.

As per tournament rules, only three of his squad members are aged over 23.

Those senior players are Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta, Sevilla's Loic Bade and Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette, who will captain the team.

Michael Olise, who recently moved from Palace to Bayern Munich, is also among the 18, which does not include any players who represented France at Euro 2024.

Henry represented France 123 times at senior International level between 1997 and 2010.

He scored 51 goals for Les Bleus and was part of teams that won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000.
