Barcelona president Joan Laporta spoke publicly in a video published on Thursday to send a message of support to those in Ukraine who have been hit by the Russian invasion of the country.
Laporta, a lawyer by trade, also sent a special mention to the club's supporters branch in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.
"In Barcelona's name, I want to express my support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people," he said.
"Whenever we've had the chance to visit Ukraine, we've noticed the warmth and affection of Barcelona fans in the country.
"We have 28 members and a supporters club with 100 members in Kyiv."

Laporta also referred to athletes from the country who have represented the club.
"They have made Barcelona's history better," he insisted.
"To all of them, to all of the people who are suffering the horror of an unjustifiable war, know that we are with you and we will help you to welcome all Ukrainians who come to our country searching for refuge."
The speech ended with Laporta thumping his chest.
"Ukrainians, Barcelona stands with you, let's stop the war!" he concluded.
