LA Galaxy are reportedly looking to sign another Barcelona player after Riqui Puig joined the club earlier this week.

Puig received interest from a number of European clubs but signed for the MLS side after being persuaded by fellow ex-Barcelona star Victor Vazquez.

According to reports in AS, the MLS side now have their eyes on another player within the current Barcelona squad.

Bringing in Puig was something of a coup for the club, as he is just 22 and was receiving a fair amount of game time at the Nou Camp. 

Following his arrival, the Galaxy then announced that midfielder Rayan Raveloson would be transferred to Ligue 1 team AJ Auxerre to open a roster spot for Puig.

The Galaxy are currently ninth in the MLS Western Conference with 22 points and a 9-10-3 record. 

The report from AS failed to reveal a name as to which Barcelona player they're targeting, but suggested it was likely to be a defensive player.

It's also claimed the Galaxy previously approached Barca over Sergi Roberto, but a deal could not be reached.

The Catalan giants will be keen to get unneeded players off their books, as financial issues have left them struggling to register new players.

Despite this, Xavi's side have still been happy to spend big, with Barcelona spending nearly £140million in total on players including Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and Jules Kounde.
