Barça player competes with Mbappé (PSG), Grimaldo (Benfica) and Sané (Bayern)
FC Barcelona scored a whopping five goals against FC Viktoria Plzen in the 22/23 Champions League opener. Ferran Torres scored a spectacular goal after a great assist from Ousmane Dembélé and has been nominated for the 'UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week'.
The other three players who are also in with a chance of winning the award voted via the Champions League's official social media channels: Alejandro Grimaldo in Benfica's match against Maccabi Haifa, Kylian Mbappé in PSG's match against Juventus and Leroy Sané in the Bayern-Inter game.
The former Manchester City and Valencia winger scored with a volley after some great bit of play from Ousmane Dembélé, who had his second assist of the game with a spectacular 'spoon' pass, which beat the entire defence.
Ferran Torres had entered the game in the 65th minute and had previously had time to assist Robert Lewandowski for the Pole to cap his great night with a hat-trick.
