The Youth League game finished in a 3-3 draw before the main event tonight

Victor Barbera was one of the big protagonists in Barcelona’s clash with Bayern in the UEFA Youth League. The young forward netted a hat-trick for Oscar Lopez’s side in the 3-3 draw.

Barbera signed for the club in the 2020-21 season from Damm to play for Juvenil B. 

In that year he consolidated himself as part of the Juvenil A team in the end, baggings 19 goals and finishing as top scorer in the Division de Honor, playing with quality players like Ilias, and the trio of Txus Alba, Casado and Garrido - the same midfield that lined up against Bayern.

He’s stayed with Juvenil A this season, even though Barca Atletic needed a forward - they signed Roberto Fernandez from Malaga.

Barbera not only netted a treble against Bayern but also scored one against Plzen in the first game. 

He’s a born killer, capable of pouncing in the box on any ball or rebound. He’s smart and can appear behind the defence and decides his best shooting option well. He’s quick and can play wider but his favourite spot is in the opponent’s box.
