The Espanyol striker replied to an old comment by the Barcelona defender

Joselu Mato is the second player with the most goals in LaLiga Santander. This Tuesday he went on Movistar +'s La Resistencia to talk about everything: the national team, Florentino... and Gerard Piqué.

One of the regular questions asked by David Broncano, the show's presenter, is about the money that the guest has in his bank account.

Joselu's answer was simple: "I have more money than you and less than my brother-in-law", referring to Real Madrid's Dani Carvajal.

It was then that Broncano reminded Joselu that Piqué's answer to that question was that he had more money than Espanyol's budget. And the striker didn't hold back: "Normal. Given the expenses he has...".

And he spoke about his relationship with him: "We used to beat each other up (on the pitch). I'm a striker who likes to clash and he was a central defender. He had a lot of quality, he was one of the best in the world".
