'We already knew we would have to fight against TWELVE': Real Madrid's in-house TV channel accuse El Clasico officials of leading a 'MISSION' to dent their LaLiga title bid in a furious four-minute clip detailing referee 'mistakes' in defeat at Barcelona

Real Madrid's in-house TV channel has accused referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea of leading a 'mission' to dent their LaLiga title hopes in a furious four-minute video after their defeat at Barcelona.

Madrid were beaten in the dying minutes of Sunday's El Clasico at the Nou Camp, with Franck Kessie turning home a stoppage-time winner for the hosts right.

The victory extended Barca's lead at the top of LaLiga to 12 points with as many matches still to play, leaving them in a strong position to become champions.

However, Real believe they have been pushed further out of the title race because of a refereeing agenda against them, accusing Bengoetxea of purposely 'harming' Carlo Ancelotti's men to leave them trailing in Barca's wake.

After their defeat on Sunday, Real Madrid TV, via Sport, produced a furious four-minute clip highlighting the official's various 'mistakes' at the Nou Camp and claiming they show a clear conspiracy against their club.

The video starts with the words: 'Unfortunately, El Clasico had a name of its own: Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea, who together with his faithful squire in the VAR, César Soto Grado, took charge with their decisions to distance Real Madrid from any chance of fighting for the title.

'But nothing surprises us anymore about a referee who always hurts Madrid with his mistakes. We already knew that with De Burgos Bengoetxea we would have to fight against twelve.'

The clip then points to a number of alleged errors that 'prevented Madrid's victory' in Catalonia, starting with a foul on Nacho by Sergi Roberto in the 15th minute, which Los Blancos believe should have resulted in a yellow card.

They also insist Robert Lewandowski should have been booked for a foul of his own 15 minutes later, before claiming Roberto and Gavi both deserved to be sent off later in the game.

'Two attacks and repeated fouls that De Burgos Bengoetxea overlooked,' the narrator says. 'At 88', Gavi, without the ball and with a clear intention to hurt, looks back, stops, and nudges [Dani] Ceballos. Second red card forgiven Gavi.'

Nevertheless, Madrid's biggest frustrations come with two key decisions in the final 10 minutes of the game; the first of which saw them denied a winner by VAR in the 82nd minute.

After Marco Asensio slotted home from close range, the video assistant deemed he was marginally offside before doing so and subsequently ruled out his strike.

And to rub salt in the wounds, Kessie went and snatched all three points for Barca in the second minute of stoppage time despite Lewandowski appearing to barge Dani Carvajal to the ground in the build-up.

Real TV's video continues: 'The two referees had a mission: to leave Madrid out of the fight for the League . And De Burgos and Soto Grado were not going to miss the opportunity to do it. That is why in the final minutes we saw two plays that we still do not understand.

'In minute 81, Asensio scored the winning goal and VAR annulled the goal for an alleged offside. They justified their decision with some unfortunate lines, a centimeter up and a centimeter down, by eye, as it suits them.'

Rounding off their incredible rant, Madrid accuse Bengoetxea of concluding a 'dream match' for the officials by allowing Kessie's goal despite a 'clear foul' on Carvajal beforehand.

Tensions between Madrid and Barca were already rising before Sunday's El Clasico after the former announced earlier this month they would be joining the complaint filed by Spanish prosecutors against their El Clasico rivals for corruption.

Barca have been accused of making payments to former vice-president of the Spanish referees' committee Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira, who 'in exchange for money' carried out actions that would lead to them 'being favoured in the decision making of the referees'.

After backing the prosecutors' complaint, Madrid president Florentino Perez cancelled the customary El Clasico dinner with Barca counterpart Joan Laporta before deciding not to attend Sunday's game.
