The famous footballer, 37, and his girlfriend, 25, were seen holding hands as they walked through the paddock before the race.
At one point, Gerard hugged Clara around her waist while they mingled on their fun-filled date.
Clara, who has been dating Gerard for three years, looked effortlessly stylish in a mini denim dress and stylish black ballet pumps.

Gerard is dating model girlfriend Clara after she moved into the home he used to share with the singer last August.

And her recent 'revenge album' didn't shy away from multiple references to Gerard and his girlfriend in the lyrics.
In her track Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53. with Argentine DJ Bizarrap, she sings: 'I'm too big for you', which appears to be a dig at her ex and his girlfriend Clara.
The pop star belts out 'I'm too big for you, that's why you're with someone just like you' in an apparent relationship to Gerard's romance.
In other lyrics, translated from Spanish, Shakira goes on to sing: 'This is for me to mortify you, chew and swallow so it doesn't sting, I won't return to you anymore even if you cry or beg me.

In another track she shades Gerard after making reference to a 'necessary' split with an ex who is as 'cold as Christmas' in her song Monotonía.
The song, meaning Monotony in English, starts with Shakira singing in Spanish: 'It wasn't your fault, nor was it mine. It was monotony's fault. I never said anything but it hurt me. I knew this would happen.'
She then alludes to the relationship being over before it ended, singing: 'It's a necessary goodbye. What used to be incredible became routine. Your lips don't taste of anything to me. Now it's the complete opposite.'
Appearing to reference the end of her relationship, she says: 'You left me because of your narcissism. You forgot what you used to be. Distant with your attitude, and that filled me with worry. You didn't give even half. I know I gave more than you.'
