At just 17-years-old Lamine Yamal has already captivated the hearts of football fans worldwide thanks to his eye catching performances on the pitch for both Barcelona and Spain at Euro 2024. 

The 2024 Euro young player of the tournament has been thrown into the limelight due to his mesmerising displays and comparisons to Lionel Messi.

However fans are no longer just interested in his antics on the pitch as curiosity has now peaked to know more about his personal life.

After he was spotted celebrating with a brunette beauty during Spain's Euro 2024 final victory.

Social media influencer Padilla has over 300,000 followers on TikTok with Yamal among them

Very little is known about Barcelona student Alex Padilla, the girlfriend of Lamine Yamal, although she has now amassed over 400,000 followers on TikTok since photos of the pair cozying up after Spain won against England went viral. 

The Barcelona resident also used to boast an impressive following on Instagram with around 20k followers before deactivating it in the wake of all the speculation surrounding her relationship with Yamal.

Before she removed her account from the social media account, reports say that she followed both Lamine Yamal, as well as his father Mounir Nasraoui. 

The pair have been linked for a while now as eagled-eyed fans noticed that her TikTok is only one of two accounts the Spaniards follows on the platform.

Rumours intensified more, when she was spotted in attendance of Spain's group stage games, seated alongside the 17-year-olds family.

The doting couple unintentionally confirmed their status as a couple following Spain's triumph over the Three Lions.

Alex was spotted down on the pitch once the final whistle had blown, wearing a Spanish jersey with her boyfriends name and number on the back.

The young couple were inseparable on the pitch, posing together alongside Yamal's Young Player of The Year award. 

In one photo, a gleeful Yamal also appeared to take a selfie with Padilla.

The couple were accompanied by Yamal's father, Mounir Nasraoui, who before the game had correctly predicted his son would shine on the biggest of occasions.

Whilst in another she was seen clutching the sleek silverware on her lap, Padilla placed her arm around Yamal and smiled for the cameras while sitting on top of the podium.

Teenage sensation Yamal lifted the first major international trophy of his career just a day after his 17th birthday following yesterday's 2-1 win against England in Berlin.

The winger teed up Nico Williams for Spain's opener after some trademark trickery and capped off a spectacular month that has thrust him into the spotlight.

Yamal later remained on the pitch long after the confetti-laden celebrations to toast the success and was joined by his partner, student Alex Padilla. 

The loved-up couple cozied up together and posed for photos with his young player of the tournament trophy, given to him after a series of scintillating displays.

Padilla, a social media influencer with over 300,000 followers on TikTok, supported her boyfriend by wearing a Spain jersey with his name and shirt number on the back.

It is believed that Padilla attended several of Spain's matches at the European Championship and was spotted sitting alongside Yamal's family.

Speculation had mounted over their budding relationship after she was photographed with several of Yamal's relatives in a dugout during the tournament. 

And the rumours reached fever pitch after eagle-eyed social media users spotted Padilla was one of only two accounts followed by Yamal on his TikTok account. 

Prodigy Yamal shattered several records during the European Championship and became the competition's youngest-ever scorer after netting against France in the semi-finals, his stunning, bending effort having picked out the top corner.

He will now return to his club Barcelona and has been tipped to continue to astound, with his dad even comparing him to all-time great Lionel Messi.

'You cannot imagine how proud I am of my son,' Nasraoui told The Telegraph.

'I always knew that he would achieve what he has. I had total faith. And I have faith that he could go all the way and be greater than Messi.'
