The operation has accelerated in recent days. Barcelona has opted for the Manchester United player in view of the problems it was having in signing Luis Diaz, who was always the number one option. However, the sporting management was seeing the problems that this presented as Liverpool did not want to sell. In fact, they were rejecting very important proposals from Bayern Munich that were practically going to 70 million euros per season fixed.

Barcelona was aware that it was going to be very difficult to sign the player and if the operation was carried out, it would only be at the end of the market. For this reason, the club decided to activate the Rashford operation.
