At last, the club has officially announced their return to the Spotify Camp Nou - news that thrills Lamine Yamal, who is currently recovering from injury and could be available for the match against Athletic Club.

The Barcelona star has only played seven minutes at the Camp Nou

As strange as it sounds, the truth is that the Blaugrana gem has only played seven minutes at the Camp Nou (plus another three minutes of stoppage time from the match in which he made his debut on April 29, 2023).

"When I stepped onto the pitch my ears were ringing; I couldn't hear anything. It was just one minute, but to my legs it felt like an hour," he admitted a year later.

Television footage from that day showed the youngster receiving instructions from Xavi Hernández, who was both a Barcelona legend and the manager at the time.

Lamine Yamal made his debut at just 15 years and 290 days old, becoming the youngest player ever to appear for Barça in LaLiga history - surpassing Vicenç Martínez Alama (who debuted at 16 years and 280 days in 1941) and Ansu Fati (16 years and 298 days in 2019).

That debut on April 29, 2023, could actually have come earlier, but former sporting director Jordi Cruyff later revealed it was delayed because the player didn't yet have a professional contract.
