Borussia Dortmund have reportedly set the end of February as the deadline for Erling Haaland to decide his future amidst interest from several European powerhouses, such as Real Madrid.

When Haaland signed for the Bundesliga side in January 2020, the two parties agreed that the Norway international could depart the club after two years should a series of requirements be met, as Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc acknowledged recently.

As reported by Bild, Dortmund are determined to get Haaland to make a decision by the end of February. The German newspaper also confirmed that his contract includes a 75 million euro release clause, which comes into effect next summer.

Potential suitors could acquire Haaland's services in exchange for the aforementioned figure, while both his agent Mino Raiola and the player's father are expected to get a commission. This means that Haaland's signing could cost his next team up to 400m euros in total, once wages are also considered.
