The striker is wanted by Europe's biggest clubs but may be too expensive for many
Borussia Dortmund have named their price for the in-demand Erling Haaland at 180 million euros, according to a report on EPSN.
Haaland, who has a contract until 2024, is wanted by a number of top European clubs, including Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, and reportedly has a release clause of 75 million that kicks in next summer.
Dortmund would refuse to negotiate with any club this summer unless they were willing to meet the price tag they've named.
As well as Spain's big two, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are also keen on hotshot Haaland.
The club's CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke, opened the door to potentially selling Haaland or another big name player, like Jadon Sancho, when talking abut the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
“If we play the entire next season without spectators, we’ll certainly have to think about selling a player," he said. "Asking banks for credit lines at the drop of a hat just to avoid selling a player will not be the approach we take.”
Mino Raiola, Haaland's agent, told the BBC recently: "It is obvious that everybody is looking at Erling as one of those potential new future stars because it's so difficult to do what he does at his age at his level.
"Only a maximum of 10 clubs can afford to buy [Haaland] and give the platform you would like after you've been in Dortmund… and four of those clubs are in [England].
"I don't think there's a sports director or trainer in the world who would say 'not interested.' It's like saying: 'Is there a Formula 1 team who would not be interested in having Lewis Hamilton?'"
