Back on November 7, West Ham beat Liverpool 3-2 on home soil in what has been the Reds' only defeat thus far this season across all competitions, as Jurgen Klopp's side have rocketed to a great start in 2021/22.
Liverpoolare currently second in the Premier League table, with Klopp's men shining in Europe where they became the first English team to win all six of their Champions League group stage duels.
The Reds qualified for the knockout stages of Europe's premier club competition after securing top spot in Group B with two games in hand despite having to compete against strong sides such as Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and Porto in the so-called 'group of death'.
"Honestly I don't feel pride a lot in football because most of the time I expect good things to happen," Klopp said after Liverpool 2-1 win away at AC Milan on Tuesday.
"But tonight there was a lot of pride, an exceptional performance. I don't mean because we won six games, I mean this game because it was so good with that many changes.
"It is easy for me to make the changes, but the boys have to be confident enough to show how good they are and I saw so many good football things tonight which is incredible. And we won all six games, which is absolutely incredible and just another chapter for this group of players."
Two more teams with 100 percent UCL group stage record
Liverpool were not the only side to win all their six games in the 2021/22 group stage, as both Bayern Munich and Ajax managed to do so and progress to the Round of 16 without dropping a single point.
Erik ten Hag's side have stood out this season in Europe, as they scored 20 times in those six games, with striker Sebastian Haller currently being the tournament's top scorer with 10 goals.
Haller is followed by Lewandowski, who has netted one goal fewer, but helped the Bavarians to qualify for the Champions League Round of 16 after grabbing top spot in Group E.

A warning to rivals
While Ajax and Bayern Munich may have equalled Liverpool in their surge to the knockout stages, the Anfield club can boast the level of opposition faced being much greater.
There aren't many teams in the Champions League who would want to face a Liverpool in this form, and of the genuine contenders for the 2021/22 crown, not many look to be of the level Klopp has his side at.
Paris Saint-Germain have stuttered, Manchester City look vulnerable at times, Real Madrid are very capable of an off day as as Chelsea. Thus going into the knockout draw, Liverpool can be very confident that they can repeat 2019's win.
