Cristiano Ronaldo bought the ENTIRE Juventus squad iMacs to apologise for red card against Valencia in 2018 that left him in tears... but only after two months of arguing about it!
- Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off vs Valencia in a 2018 Champions League game
- The Portuguese forward reacted furiously and was reduced to tears of anguish
- Boss Massimiliano Allegri insisted he bought the squad presents to apologise
- And Juve goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny revealed Ronaldo got everyone iMacs
- The now-Manchester United star argued against his punishment for two months
Cristiano Ronaldo bought all his Juventus team-mates iMacs after getting sent off against Valencia in 2018, former team-mate Wojciech Szczesny has revealed.
Ronaldo's red fell foul of manager Massimiliano Allegri's disciplinary measures, which stated any wrongdoing was punished by having to buy the entire squad a present.
And as reported by the Sun, Szczesny claimed the Portuguese tried to wriggle out of the rule for two months before eventually relenting and treating his team-mates to the laptops.

Ronaldo was sent off for pulling the hair of Jeison Murillo on his Juve Champions League debut
The Portuguese reacted furiously and insisted he did nothing wrong, crying as he left the field
He told Polish talk show Prosto w Szczene: 'It took a very long time because he couldn't process that red card and insisted high and low that he was not doing anything wrong.
'It took him a bit, about two months of arguing, but we all have received an iMac.'
Ronaldo, making his Champions League debut for the Italian giants and on his first return to Spain after leaving Real Madrid, became entangled with Valencia defender Jeison Murillo.
And Szczesny claimed it took Ronaldo two months of arguing before he eventually relented
The Colombian centre half fell to the ground after bumping into Ronaldo, but the red was shown by no-nonsense German referee Felix Brych after the forward appeared to grab Murillo by the hair.
The now Manchester United star reacted furiously, falling to the floor and crying out in anguish, shaking his head and weeping as he left the field - although the Old Lady did eventually win 2-0.
And Szczesny admitted he had to face the same punishment after being late for training, buying Dr Dre Beats headphones for everyone.
The ex-Arsenal goalkeeper admitted he bought headphones for his team-mates after turning up late to training, also falling foul of manager Massimiliano Allegri's disciplinary measures
He added: 'I thought it was Tuesday, but it turned out to be Wednesday that day.
'Allegri called me and said everyone was already there. When I arrived half an hour late on the training field, everyone said: "oh, we're getting presents!" I ended up buying headphones for the boys.'
Allegri left as boss that summer, before returning in May 2021 on a four-year contract after unsuccessful stints with Maurizio Sarri and Andrea Pirlo.
