The Turkish chef who became known worldwide for his way of adding salt to grilled meat had taken on a low profile and had all but 'disappeared' from social media after he was vilified for his arrogant stance towards Argentina's players on the Lusail stadium pitch after the Qatar 2022 World Cup final.

That time, the restaurateur posed with several world champion players with the cup in his hand and, in some images, he was seen doing his characteristic pose in his restaurants.
