Jose Mourinho will be in the dug-out for Roma's crunch match against Juventus on Sunday, despite being shown a red card during their 2-1 loss against Cremonese on Tuesday night.

The Portuguese manager was was given a two-match suspension and his third red card of the season after he clashed with fourth official Marco Serra in the opening moments of the second half, before being sent off by referee Marco Piccinini.

His side were already 1-0 down when he was given his marching orders, with the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss continuing to point at the official, saying, 'It's him, it's him,' as he left the field.

Mourinho was given a two-match suspension which would have seen him miss Sunday's crunch match against Juventus, but the Sports Court of Appeal has toady announced his ban will be temporarily suspended, according to Calcio Mercato.

It comes as the court, who have now received statements from Mourinho and four Roma players, still have not heard from Serra and have chosen to delay the suspension.

A hearing has now been scheduled for March 10 with the Court of Appeal asking the prosecutors office to close their investigation within three days.

Mourinho had also been awarded a €10,000 fine by the Court, for 'vehemently and provocatively challenging a referee's decision.'

Earlier this week, SportsMail reported that the 60-year-old would be seeking legal advice after the incident, with the Portuguese manager claiming the official had told him to 'mind his own f****** business', sparking the affray.

The manager said the official had spoken to him in the 'most incredible way'

'I need to understand if I can take any legal action,' Mourinho said after the match. 'Piccinini gave me a red card, because unfortunately the fourth official does not have the capacity to understand what he said to me.

'I want to find out if there is an audio recording. I don't want to get into the fact that Serra is from Turin and on Sunday we are playing against Juventus.

'For the first time in my career, a fourth official spoke to me in the most incredible way. It was unjustifiable. At the end of the game, I went to speak to them.'

'Piccinini, who was the fourth official in the last game when I was sent off, told me to apologise to Serra. I told Serra he should have the courage to explain what happened, but he had memory problems.'

The altercation was initially sparked by an on-field clash between Roma's Marash Kumbulla and Cremonese's Frank Tsadjout.

Mourinho's side could have edged closer to a Champions League berth on Tuesday, but Daniel Ciofani's 83rd minute penalty saw the home side take all three points, astonishingly claiming their first Serie A win in 27 years.

Roma currently sit fifth in the Serie A table, nine points ahead of Juventus who sit two places back from the I Giallorossi.
