Chelsea lacking decisiveness

Chelsea have seen a lot of the ball but far too often there has been a lack of movement from the attacking players. Mauricio Pochettino will be frustrated so far but there's a lot of time for his team to step up the intensity.

Consistency is the key for Chelsea

How many times have we said this about Chelsea, they need to be consistent.

Their struggles have been apparent for a while now, but their FA Cup victory over Aston Villa felt like a statement.

After getting thumped by both Liverpool and Wolves, many assumed another big loss was coming their way, but they produced an electrifying performance against the odds.

Mauricio Pochettino knows that his side need to produce that sort of performance on a regular basis, and tonight would be a great chance to show they have turned a corner.

They still sit a lowly 11th, but another victory would be a huge confidence boost for the side.

I’m really excited for this one!

The situation at Selhurst

The season has been bleak at times for Crystal Palace.

After just two wins in their last 12 Premier League games, questions have been raised about whether Roy Hodgson is the right man for the club.

Their latest loss, a 4-1 demolishing from Brighton, has only added to the pressure on the 76-year-old Eagles boss.

Fans of the club have displayed their disdain with protests against the board, there is not a good atmosphere around the south London club at the moment.

Palace currently sit 15th in the league, just five points above the relegation zone, so where do they go from here?

Well, a win tonight would be a good start, but it may be hard to come by against a Chelsea team who looked rejuvenated in their 3-1 FA Cup fourth round replay victory over Aston Villa.

With all that is at stake for Palace at the moment, surely, they have to come out all guns blazing tonight!
