Premier League clubs splash the cash every window in the hope of snapping up some of the world's best players - with hundreds of millions, if not billions, spent.

10. Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool) - 6.97

After scoring three goals and laying on two assists during his spell with Liverpool, Dominik Szoboszlai has hit the ground running despite several injury issues.

As a result, WhoScored have rated him 6.97, a shade under the seven milestone.

9. Kai Havertz (Arsenal) - 6.99

It may have taken him a while to warm up, but Kai Havertz has now found his stride.

He has linked up sharply with his team-mates in recent months and cemented his spot in a red-hot frontline. His nine goals and five assists are an added bonus.

8. James Ward-Prowse (West Ham) - 7.06

A set-piece wizard, James Ward-Prowse has kept West Ham ticking over in midfield as a No 8 and also continued his rich vein of goalscoring form.

His goal against Wolves from a corner kick was his sixth in the league this season.

7. Ross Barkley (Luton) - 7.15

Ross Barkley has been nothing short of sensational for Luton.

After joining on a free transfer, Barkley, an incisive playmaker happy to drop deep, has scored four and completed the fifth-most dribbles (57) in the league.

6. Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool) - 7.16

The master of the all-round game, Alexis Mac Allister has looked at home when shifting the ball to his team-mates and smashing into the net from long range.

He possesses a howitzer of a left and right boot and after being given freedom to push on by Jurgen Klopp, he has scored four goals and teed up five more.

5. Mohammed Kudus (West Ham) - 7.18

David Moyes was initially reluctant to throw Mohammed Kudus into the fray right from the off but he was more than earned his spot after a string of superb displays.

4. Jeremy Doku (Man City) - 7.25

He may be frustratingly inconsistent but Jeremy Doku has shown flashes of brilliances after being recruited by Pep Guardiola to join his deadly attacking force.

It is no surprise, then, that he has completed the second-most dribbles (72) in the league this season, with countless full backs enduring a torrid time against him.

3. James Maddison (Tottenham) - 7.31

An injury back in November cruelly derailed James Maddison's season. The vibrant attacking midfielder had taken to life under Ange Postecoglou flawlessly.

He has since returned, however, and will look to surge up these rankings.

2. Cole Palmer (Chelsea) - 7.34

Cole Palmer has been ice-cold for Chelsea this season and has fully justified his decision to leave Manchester City in the search of regular game time.

He has scored an incredible 16 goals in the league this season, including his sensational hat-trick in the stunning comeback victory against Manchester United.

Palmer has nine assists to his name and is a standout in a poor season for the Blues.

1. Declan Rice (Arsenal) - 7.35

Taking the No 1 spot on this list is Arsenal lynchpin Declan Rice. His WhoScored rating of 7.35 is the seventh-best overall in the Premier League this campaign.

He has contributed going forward, having scored six goals and laid on five assists, but has also been instrumental to his side's ferocious pressing in midfield.
