The Chase's Mark 'The Beast' Labbett celebrated his one-year anniversary with GB News presenter Hayley Palmer on Loose Women on Tuesday. The gameshow favourite, 58, met Hayley, 41, through work and the two have been proving that distance does indeed make the heart grow fonder. Mark told the Loose Women panellists and the packed studio audience: 'Because we live quite a bit apart - I live up in Sheffield, Rotherham, she's a Chelsea girl - we tend to look at our diaries and see if we can sync up together. 'The good news is we see each other every few weeks, but we make the most of it when we're together so we get the best of both worlds. Blonde bombshell Hayley added: 'And we get excited when we see each other which is really nice. The Chase's Mark 'The Beast' Labbett, 58, celebrated his one-year anniversary with GB News presenter Hayley Palmer, 41, on Loose Women on Tuesday The gameshow favourite met Hayley through work and the two have been inseparable ever since Mark told the Loose Women panellists 'We see each other every few weeks, but we make the most of it when we're together so we get the best of both worlds' 'We don't see each other and then I'm like: "Actually, we're really looking forward to coming together...' Hayley playfully elbowed Mark before finishing: '...And not sharing our chips!' And the audience roared with laughter. Mark has been on a very impressive weight loss journey as of late, shedding an eye-watering 10st - which he lost naturally. He explained on Good Morning Britain in April: 'During the pandemic, I was looking after my little boy and I really began to admire people who are full-time looking after young children. 'I don't know how I did it, but I was lucky, and after one of the bouts of Covid my appetite went away and never really came back. Hayley will agree that even now I struggle to finish a meal' He added: 'I used to gym a lot and you might be able to tell from these shoulders that I could bench press my own body weight, so I've always been a strong boy, I was just a fat strong boy. Mark, who has joined Hayley in becoming a gym rat, finished: 'I was the 1985 Oxford shotput champion.' The Oxford graduate shot to fame in 2009 when he began putting his long quizzing career to the test in The Chase.
