Soccer Aid has confirmed the England squad for next Sunday's charity clash at Stamford Bridge in London.

A team of Three Lions will take on a World XI in a televised event to raise money for Unicef, featuring the typical mixture of celebrities and former pro footballers.

With the match being held at the home of Chelsea, there is an element of Blues for both teams, as well as the return of Mauricio Pochettino as manager for the Rest of the World team.

The provisional England team, as revealed on X (fka Twitter), will be coached by former Chelsea icon Frank Lampard, alongside Arsenal great David Seaman, and managerial legend Harry Redknapp.

That trio will be assisted at Stamford Bridge by singer Robbie Williams and actor Vicky McClure.

They will be joined by goalkeeper David James, Jermain Defoe, Jill Scott, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere.

Thirteen celebrities are also named on the initial teamsheet, including actors Bobby Brazier, Erin Doherty and Danny Dyer, and comedian Paddy McGuinness.

Stuart Broad, Sam Quek and Mo Farah swap disciplines to football, having previously been elite athletes in cricket, hockey and long-distance running respectively.

Soccer Aid appeared to confirm the World XI team on X too, although the post was later deleted.

Pochettino is set to reprise his managerial role, after winning last year's event at Old Trafford, while Petr Cech, Eden Hazard, John Obi Mikel and Michael Essien are among the former Blues who are set to grace the Stamford Bridge pitch once more.
