Romelu Lukaku has revealed that Antonio Conte is the best manager he has had during his career.

Conte helped the striker into perhaps the best physical shape of his career during the Belgian's first stint at Inter Milan.

Lukaku fired 24 goals and provided 11 assists to help guide Inter Milan to the Serie A title in 2021, before leaving for Chelsea in a £97.5m move.

His disastrous spell at Stamford Bridge could come to an end this summer, with new Napoli boss Conte reportedly pursuing a move for Lukaku.

Lukaku in an interview with Belgian TV, as per Gazzetta dello Sport, revealed that Conte was the best manager he ever had.

It's said that when asked the question, Lukaku responded with the Italian's name without any hesitation.

The 31-year-old has also been coached by the likes of Jose Mourinho, Thomas Tuchel, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Roberto Martinez and Simeone Inzaghi during his career.

His pick will increase speculation that he could reunite with Conte at Napoli.

Lukaku also told Belgian TV: 'The relationship with the coach has always had considerable weight in my transfer choices.'

Conte was confirmed as Napoli's new manager on Wednesday and Ihttps://www.instagram.com/p/C7xMkkmNwFr/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading has reported that he has already contacted Lukaku to inquire about his availability this summer.

The striker has also been linked with moves to Napoli's Serie A rivals AC Milan and Roma - where he spent this season out on loan.

However, Lukaku also appears to be open to a move to Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to HLN, Lukaku said: 'Saudi Arabia wouldn't stop me. The level (of football in the country) will only increase. To a much higher level than many people think.

'More and more football players will tend to play there. Also because of how the fans there experience football. The infrastructure still needs to be improved, but all major European top clubs know: 'Saudi Arabia is coming' - you already see that in boxing, golf, Formula One.'

Lukaku had been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League last summer, but doubts arose at the time due to the level of football in the country, with the Belgian insisting he was 'scared for a moment'.

He revealed that he has often to spoken to Belgian international team-mate Yannick Carrasco - who plays for Al Shabab - about life in the country, and now believes 'you really have everything there'.
