Chelsea have discussed a potential deal involving striker Armando Broja in their offer for Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

The 25-year-old midfielder has turned down a proposed move to Brighton and is waiting for Chelsea to agree terms with Leicester after an opening bid was made on Friday.

Chelsea are understood to have also mentioned David Fofana and midfielder Cesare Casadei as they look to reach an agreement.

Leicester are looking to offload Dewsbury-Hall to meet PSR requirements before Sunday's June 30 cut off point.

Brighton had offered Jakub Moder in their talks over a £25million transfer but Dewsbury-Hall wants a bigger club if he is to leave boyhood side Leicester where he has been since the age of eight.

Last season was a productive one for Dewsbury-Hall, who scored 12 league goals.

Meanwhile, the Blues have an agreement in principle for a deal to sign 18-year-old Barcelona forward Marc Guiu.

Mail Sport previously reported that Enzo Maresca's side had been monitoring Guiu, with the Blues facing competition from the likes of Bayern Munich for the forward's signature.

The club are said to have triggered a release clause of just €6m (£5m) to begin discussions with the player.

Mail Sport also recently revealed that Chelsea have made an enquiry for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.

Mail Sport understands conversations have taken place between the clubs and the Blues have indicated a want to sign the Sweden international.

They know that any deal would take a club-record fee beyond the £115m they paid for Moises Caicedo.

Isak scored 25 goals last season and is one of the hottest properties in Europe. His market value is at least double the £63m Newcastle paid Real Sociedad in the summer of 2022.

In his two seasons at St James’ Park, Isak has netted 35 goals and, while his first campaign was hit by injury, he established himself as one of the most feared strikers in the Premier League last term.
