- Trevoh Chalobah was left out of Chelsea's squad for their US pre-season tour
- The 25-year-old made 13 appearances for the Blues in Premier League last term
- Blues academy graduate had been training at Cobham under new boss Maresca
Trevoh Chalobah feels he is being forced out of Chelsea after being excluded from their travelling squad to the United States, with the club likely to sell their homegrown central defender this summer.
The 25-year-old has been left at home while Wesley Fofana, Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Levi Colwill are among the defensive options who are Stateside.
Chalobah had been training at Cobham under new head coach Enzo Maresca.
The club have huge respect for Chalobah because of his long association with them, having joined at the age of eight.
But there is huge competition for places in central defence and while his disappointment was taken into account, the club based their decision purely on sporting merit.

Nottingham Forest have previously shown an interest in Chalobah, who is expected to attract interest across the Premier League.
Contracted until 2028, the former England youth played a key part at the end of Chelsea's last season under Mauricio Pochettino after returning from injury.
Alfie Gilchrist is another defender who has been left at home and the 20-year-old is expected to leave on loan this summer.
