Amazon Prime have announced their punditry team for this season's Champions League after acquiring the rights to show games from Europe's elite club competition.

The streaming giant will be showing the top Tuesday match each week starting from this week's play-off round all the way through until the semi-finals in May.

And they have pulled out all the stops to put together a team of experts to front their coverage.

Gabby Logan will present the action, and will be joined by Frank Lampard and Daniel Sturridge, who won the Champions League with Chelsea and Liverpool, respectively.

But neither man can match the number of winner's medals earned by Clarence Seedorf - it's four, by the way - and the former AC Milan, Real Madrid and Ajax star will also be part of Amazon Prime's punditry team.

After being widely praised for his co-commentary during Euro 2024, Alan Shearer will be behind the microphone once again during matches and will pair up with Jon Champion in the commentary box.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Clarke and Alex Aljoe will be reporting from pitch-side on matchdays.

Amazon Prime will also offer fans the chance to try out some new features for games, including 'Rapid Recap', which provides the opportunity for viewers to watch a highlights reel of any of the action they may have missed.

There is also a 'Key Moments' category, where fans can skip to major incidents such as a penalties, goals or VAR decisions.

The draw for the league phase of the Champions League will take place on August 29, with the opening round of matches due to take place from September 17-19.

The league phase of the revamped competition runs until late January, prior to the knockout play-off round which will determine the teams that make it through to the last 16.

This season's final is set to be held on May 31, 2025 at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
