When Thiago Silva gets home from the football, he doesn't need to collapse on the sofa and ask his wife how she feels about the game. He can just check social media for that.
Oh, and good luck getting any comforting words. Mrs Silva's opinions are forged of fire and dipped in acid.
Isabelle da Silva is a unique and increasingly high-profile member of the clan of footballing spouses, at once an ardent fan and vehement critic of the teams her husband plays for. No punches are pulled when she has a strong opinion.
On Sunday, her latest declaration hit the world after Chelsea's woeful 4-2 defeat by Wolves at Stamford Bridge.
'It's time for change. If you wait any longer it will be too late,' she wrote on X, her words cryptic but crystal-clear.
Thiago Silva's wife, Isabelle, is a passionate supporter of her husband's career - and often a vocal critic of his team-mates, managers, and clubs. Now, she's calling for change at Chelsea
The two began their relationship in 2004 and since then, she has been a rock on the sidelines
She has the ability to capture the frustration of a fanbase, after Mauricio Pochettino's Blues were left black and blue by a theoretically lesser side, booed off by fans, with some even chanting former manager Jose Mourinho's name.
And this is only the latest in a series of outbursts. Timo Werner has felt her wrath, Chelsea fans have not escaped her critique, and Unai Emery and Graham Potter have been questioned.
Welcome to the story of Isabelle da Silva, Thiago Silva's devoted wife and biggest supporter - and a fierce footballing pundit in her own way.
As with many mystical power couples, the Silvas are said to be childhood sweethearts.
One of Belle's Instagram posts is of them in what looks like a minibus in their youth, captioned: 'My boyfriend since 2004.'
That would have been around the time when a young Thiago was finding his way at Juventude in Brazil, or Porto's B team in Portugal.
In 2005, things almost ended when Thiago contracted Tuberculosis while playing for Dynamo Moscow in Russia.
Belle flew to Russia fully intending to end their budding romance. As Thiago recounted to SportBuzz: 'She went there [to Russia], she was underage and left everything in Brazil to go.
Belle has been in the stands to celebrate the highs and lows of Thiago's football career
Silva's wife uses her social media platform as other influencers do - sharing snaps from glamorous and luxurious holidays - but has some headstrong opinions about football as well
After Chelsea's 4-2 defeat, she seemed to suggest that Mauricio Pochettino should be sacked
'A curious fact that few people know is that she had gone there to end our relationship and things ended up changing.
'Of course, at that moment, I didn't know what was going to happen, I found out years later, but I was happy to see her there at that very difficult time in my life. That moment there strengthened us as a couple.'
Miraculously, from the brink of a break-up, by the end of that year they were married. They now have two children, Isago and Iago.
What is clear is that Belle has been with Thiago every step of the way since their marriage. She isn't some uninterested sideline to his career - Belle often posts videos from the car on the way to and from games at Stamford Bridge, offering a brief glimpse behind the scenes of their life.
She was there at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, holding a Brazil flag aloft with a photo of her husband emblazoned on her yellow and green tee-shirt.
She was there for the Club World Cup in 2021, beaming with Thiago and their sons, passing the glory to God, and proudly holding the trophy that few other football fans care about - though it's status in Brazil is, admittedly, much higher.
She was there for Ligue 1 highs and Champions League lows when he was at PSG, an ever-present metronome in the maelstrom of a footballing career. The first name on Thiago Silva's teamsheet of life.
Her Instagram page is a glorious tribute to the blossoming of their relationship, more than 2,000 posts of them on holiday, them at the football, the at conquering life together.
She once hit out at her husband's team-mate, Timo Werner, claiming he 'doesn't want to score'
Werner (centre) missed a sitter after being played in by Christian Pulisic against Real Madrid
She supports her husband - but doesn't always take a kind view of his footballing comrades
Of course, she finds time for individual pursuits. Belle is an influencer in her own right, promoting fashion brands and fitness pursuits.
A life lived in some of the world's most iconic cities - Milan, Paris, and now London - is useful for that glamorous element.
And yet it's the football fanaticism that really sticks out. The reams of snaps from countless stadiums, draped in the colours of Brazil or whatever team Thiago is playing for, waving flags and living every moment of the action.
With the territory of fanaticism comes the strength of opinion. There are few direct relatives of players who are so willing to speak out when things go awry for the beloved's club.
Way back in 2018, Belle made headlines for calling out PSG boss Unai Emery. It was only a subtle start: 'Tactics, tactics, tactics?' she wrote on Instagram after Thiago was dropped for a 3-1 Champions League defeat at Real Madrid.
That was a mild introduction.
Andy Robertson, one of the Premier League's poster boy full-backs, has not dodged her talons of reproach.
In December 2020, the Liverpool left-back shared a video of himself skinning Jorginho in a 2-0 win over Chelsea in September of the same year.
Little did he know he would incur the mockery of Belle's response, as she wrote on TikTok: 'Chilwell is better than u dude you even lost to Southampton'. For good measure, more than 500,000 fans liked her comment. Ouch.
Even being a team-mate doesn't guarantee you immunity.
Belle remarkably slammed Silva's former team-mate Timo Werner in April 2021, posting online about the German striker's poor finishing following the Blues 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in a Champions League semi-final.
Liverpool full-back Andy Robertson tried to mock Jorginho by sharing a video of him skinning him in a game, but Isabella brutally replied by saying he was worse than Ben Chilwell
She tweeted in support of her husband after a touchline spat with Daniel Amartey in May 2021
'This is karma, guys. Every team I go to there is a striker who keeps missing goals… this Werner, what is his name?',' she wrote on Instagram.
In a second video she added: 'We need a goal, we need to win this match but my attackers don't want to score, I don't know why they don't score.'
A month later, Isabelle backed her husband after he was embroiled in an on-pitch row with Leicester City's Daniel Amartey.
Belle posted 'That's right, show who's boss,' as a caption to a photo of Silva confronting Amartey.
She also tweeted 'We didn't forget you Amartey' in reference to the Leicester player throwing Chelsea's pennant after the Foxes had beaten Chelsea in the FA Cup final a week earlier.
Alongside that, she shared a number of Instagram stories during the match, one of which had her chanting 'We hate Tottenham, Chelsea!' It's safe to say her fandom was well-received by her fellow supporters.
During Chelsea's miserable 2022-23 season, Belle made a series of controversial posts online to express her frustration at the Blues' struggles.
'I just think that going back or looking for solutions when you take a hasty and totally wrong attitude is not wrong #goblues,' she posted after Silva was left an unused substitute by Graham Potter in Chelsea's 4-0 FA Cup loss to Man City.
She previously queried why there were no photos of her husband on the new Stamford Bridge designs.
Belle (above, with Silva and their two children) was vocal during Chelsea's horror 2022-23 term
Way back in 2018, she questioned Unai Emery's tactics after he dropped Silva to the bench
Belle da Silva frequently commented on the Blues' fortunes during a difficult 2022-23 season
After the Blues drew 2-2 with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge last August, she wrote 'Today I went to Stamford Bridge, and I noticed that the photos changed around the stadium. But I don't see a photo of @tsilva3 anywhere. Why @ChelseaFC?'
Meanwhile, supporters have previously been the subject of her ire. Following the 1-0 defeat by Manchester City in January 2023, she took issue with the boos that appeared to ring out across the ground, shouting 'come on Chelsea' in an apparent bid to try and gee up those around her.
In April 2022, Belle leapt to the defence of her husband after claiming he was criticised for 'not attacking enough' during a 4-1 defeat at home by Brentford.
'I'm here in my box at Stamford Bridge,' she said. 'I just listened right now to the commentator, who said that Thiago Silva is not attacking enough,' she said.
'Respect Thiago Silva because Thiago Silva arrived yesterday, Thiago Silva played for Brazil, Thiago Silva is very tired, Thiago Silva is 37 years old, he plays like he is 20 years old.
'So respect him, he's not a machine. He needs to relax, alright?'
After a dire end to last season, in which Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League, Belle reflected on the struggle to raise morale by posting: 'Very difficult to see what I see on TV. At home the situation worsens because I don't know how to help, what to say. Very sad @tsilva3 you aren't alone.'
Alongside her latest post calling for 'change' at Chelsea, it all coalesces to build an authentic and passionate story of footballing devotion.
Silva's wife previously hit out at Chelsea fans for their lack of support during a defeat
She almost broke up with Thiago in 2005, but they have since grown from strength to strength
In Belle are encapsulated the highs and lows of following a team, the unerring discipline of cheering 11 players on while simultaneously being outraged at half of what they do.
It's shocking and refreshing and with little precedent. For sure, you get isolated incidents - Oleksandr Zinchenko's wife, Vlada Sedan, slammed Pep Guardiola's tactics in Manchester City's Champions League debacle against Lyon in 2020, but that was in her capacity as a football journalist.
Belle's contributions are more raw. It might well be unsettling for Thiago's team-mates to check X after a game and find that their most vocal detractor is not Gary Neville or Jamie Carragher but in fact the wife of one of their friends.
And spare a thought for Thiago if Pochettino stumbles across her latest tweet and then gets stuck in a lift with his 39-year-old defender. That's an awkward one to explain.
But in an era where big-name social media profiles are increasingly preened and anodyne - or reddened by confected rage - there's something that makes you smile about a footballer's loved one shouting into the ether, not giving a heck about the consequences, just putting the football and all its lively conversation first.
