SUBSTITUTIONS: Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Now the changes are coming in their masses.

Celtic make a double change with Yang and Anderson both coming into the action.

For Chelsea, Malo Gusto and Andrey Santos have entered the fray.

21:34, 66'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Oh my word, Robert Sanchez nearly has a moment of madness.

Well, I'm not sure why I am saying nearly, in truth...

He rushes miles out of his goal and goes to kung fu kick the ball away as it's clipped over the top.

He just about gets it right, but I have no idea why he even bothered to try it.

Had he missed it, there was a Celtic man there lurking.

21:31, 64'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Raheem Sterling, what is that??

The Chelsea winger races away down the left with Noni Madueke busting a gut to get into the middle.

All Sterling has to do is slide the ball over to the young winger, but he overhits it massively and the attack is wasted.

That was a big, big chance wasted.

21:30, 62'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

That's a bit better from Celtic...

The ball is floated toward Matt O'Riley at the back stick, and he gets his noggin' to it.

But just as the ball is goalbound it's blocked.

21:27, 59'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Celtic are not quite looking as lively as they did before the break.

If anything, it's now Chelsea who look the more threatening going forward.

But they are still yet to cause Celtic too much trouble at the back.

21:23, 56'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

On your bike, Christopher!

No, Nkunku is not being subbed off, but he tries a spectacular bicycle kick which goes horribly wrong.

The ball falls invitingly for him in the air and he goes for it. The ball flies closer to the moon than the goal as a result.

Not his best strike ever...

21:21, 53'

MASSIVE MISS! Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Oh my word, how has that not gone in?

Marc Guiu somehow squirts the ball wide off his hip with the goal gaping.

The ball bounces to him following a superb save from Kasper Schmeichel to palm away Raheem Sterling's low strike.

Guiu doesn't know much about it when the ball comes his way, but you still expect him to score.

But the ball bounces agonisingly wide of the post.

21:17, 49'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Raheem Sterling is already making a major impact on Chelsea going forward.

This time he does well to set up Noni Madueke in the area, but the latter pulls his shot wide.

He drops to his knees in frustration, he knows he should do better.

21:15, 47'

CHANCE! Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

That would have been some way to introduce yourself to the match, Raheem Sterling.

The winger prods the ball toward goal after Marc Guiu does well down the left.

However, Kasper Schmeichel is equal to it.

21:14, 46'

SECOND HALF: Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Enzo Maresca has only made three changes for the second half... I thought he would make way more.

Lesley Ugochukwu, Raheem Sterling, and Tosin Adarabioyo replace Carney Chukwuemeka, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Wesley Fofana.

Anyway, we are back underway.

WATCH: Sanchez makes sensational save!

While Chelsea have been poor, Robert Sanchez has been very good.

If you haven't seen his point-blank save from Kyogo yet, then here you go.

It's a superb stop, even watching it over and over again, I'm still not sure how he made it.

Incredible stuff.

Crumbling Chelsea

Chelsea's defensive structure has been weaker than the bridge I made during year 7 DT.

It's just falling apart.

Celtic have found it way too easy to pass their way through the Blues midfield, and then their backline.

They need Gandalf in this second half...

Maresca's misery

I wonder what Enzo Maresca made of that first half.

I can probably guess. Just like all of us, I presume he thought his side played rubbish.

That's because they did.

I expect 10 changes when they come out for the second half. Let's see how much of a difference it makes.

Classy Celtic

Celtic are at it again, aren't they?

Brendan Rodgers' side have really found their groove in this pre-season, they are playing some special stuff.

The one and two-touch football on display has been rather divine - a pleasure to watch.

If they keep going as they are, we could see a fair few more goals in the second half.

HALF-TIME: Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

There goes the whistle for the interval.

Celtic have been dominant, and Chelsea have been lacklustre (and that's being kind).

The Scottish side have run rings around Enzo Maresca's side, and are good value for their two-goal lead.

If anything, it should be more.

ONE added minute

Chelsea have just one minute until they can regroup at half-time.

They certainly need that 15 minutes, and I'm sure a new team will arise from the tunnel.

20:54, 45'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Brendan Rodgers looks like he is loving life.

The Celtic boss is sat down on a cooler, with his hat on, taking in the sunshine.

I'm sure he will be buzzing with his side's display so far, they have been superb.

20:51, 42'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Marc Guiu is struggling to have an impact on this game.

He cuts a lonely frustrated figure up top. The Spaniard has had a decent chance which was saved by Kasper Schmeichel, but barring that he hasn't done too much.

Wait, just as I say that he breaks into the area, but is smothered by the Celtic keeper.

That would have been one way to shut me up.

20:48, 38'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

Carney Chukwuemeka is still trying to make things happen.

He drives at the Celtic backline before the ball goes out for a corner.

He hasn't done his defensive duties too well, but going forward he is causing some problems.

20:45, 36'

Chelsea 0-2 Celtic

I know it's only pre-season, but this is a little worrying for Chelsea fans.

Defensively, they are all over the shop. The spaces are massive and Celtic are exploiting them.

I also can't remember the last time they had a meaningful attack.

20:41, 33'

Goal: Chelsea 0-2 Celtic (Kyogo 33')

Robert Sanchez can't do anything about that one!

Chelsea are being ripped apart at the back and Kyogo taps home from about two yards out.

It's all too easy for the Scottish champions at the moment, it's a simple ball across the six-yard box and there are no Chelsea defenders there...

The Blues are crumbling like a cookie.

20:40, 30'

WHAT A SAVE! Chelsea 0-1 Celtic

WHAT A SAVE FROM ROBERT SANCHEZ!

I wouldn't normally use capital letters in a pre-season match, but that save deserves it.

The Chelsea goalkeeper somehow keeps the score at 1-0 despite the ball being fired at him from point-blank range at the back post.

How he managed to stop that, I have no idea.

20:37, 28'

Chelsea 0-1 Celtic

There is offside, and then there is OFFSIDE.

Kyogo is through but the whistle blows as the flag is up. He wasn't even in the same postcode as the closest defender.

Hold your run a little more, Kyogo...

20:34, 25'

Chelsea 0-1 Celtic

Kieran is right, this is way too easy.

Celtic are the hot knife, and Chelsea are butter. The Scottish side are slicing through them with relative ease.

There is now a drinks break, and by golly do the Blues need it.

'So easy for Celtic'

Kieran Gill, Mail Sport, at the Notre Dame Stadium:

It's worrying how easy it's been for Celtic to break through Chelsea. The high line reminds me of Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou last season. One ball in behind and bang, you're toast.

20:31, 20'

BIG SAVE! Chelsea 0-1 Celtic

Nearly an instant response from Chelsea!

Marc Guiu is slid through in the area by Christopher Nkunku, he looks set to score his first Chelsea goal.

But no, Kasper Schmeichel comes and smothers him, making a brave stop.

Great goalkeeping yet again from the Dane.

20:27, 18'

Goal: Chelsea 0-1 Celtic (O'Riley 18')

Of course...

Just as I say the action has slowed, Celtic only go and take the lead, don't they?

Matt O'Riley side-foots into the bottom corner with ease after a lovely move from the Scottish side.

They carve Chelsea open at will. Way too easy.

20:26, 17'

Chelsea 0-0 Celtic

The action is starting a slow just a little.

I mean, there hasn't been a shot in a few minutes, it's an outrage.

Just as I say that, Reece James sees his strike from distance blocked, but that doesn't really count.

I guess it's only pre-season, they will be all blowing after 25 minutes in this heat

20:21, 12'

SAVE! Chelsea 0-0 Celtic

Robert Sanchez called into action yet again!

Reo Hatate decides to have a dig from deep, because why not, and Sanchez has to get low to beat it away.

He really was scrambling to reach it, the ball was moving at pace.

20:20, 11'

Chelsea 0-0 Celtic

This game is being played at 100 miles per hour, both sides are going for it.

It's exactly what you want to see, two teams playing flowing football and gunning for the win.

I'm certainly enjoying myself anyway.

CLOSE! Chelsea 0-0 Celtic

Oh, so close from Kyogo!

The Japanese forward races through on the left of the box for Celtic. he is running so quick that I thought he was going to fall over.

but he doesn't and gets a shot away that is heading inside the near post.

Robert Sanchez gets his foot to the ball, though.

'Lovely save'

Kieran Gill, Mail Sport, at the Notre Dame Stadium:

Kasper Schmeichel, still got it! Lovely save to deny Christopher Nkunku. Hot out there, by the way, as all the substitutes on the bench are covering their heads with towels. Tactics wise, Reece James is inverting to go alongside Romeo Lavia.

BIG SAVE! Chelsea 0-0 Celtic

Take a bow, Kasper Schmeichel!

The Dane has just pulled out a fabulous double save to deny Christopher Nkunku and then Carney Chukwuemeka.

I'm not quite sure how he has pulled that off, in truth. Special goalkeeping.

Chelsea 0-0 Celtic

Is Levi Colwill OK? He hasn't had a scrap within the first three minutes of this match.

I guess he doesn't have a James McClean winding him up today like he did on Wednesday.

Much friendlier start to this match.

Chelsea 0-0 Celtic

Jeez, Carney Chukwuemeka is up for this one.

The Chelsea midfielder drives into the Celtic areas within the first 30 seconds, and eyes the goal.

But Anthony Ralston does enough to get the ball behind for a corner, which is cleared.

That would have been a crazy start to the match had Chukwuemeka gotten a shot off.

KICK-OFF: Chelsea 0-0 Celtic

Eight minutes of delays, but we are now underway.

The two sides huddle for the final time for a bit of pre-match motivation... or maybe they are discussing their plans for after. Probably not, though.

Marc Guiu gets the ball rolling in sunny Indiana. Let's hope for a belter.

Here they are!

Ah, the teams have decided to appear.

I am still bamboozled as to why the delay kick-off by eight minutes again, but oh well, it is what it is.

Will Mykhailo Mudryk be Enzo Maresca's type on paper, though?

The Spaniard will not want to put all his eggs in one basket during pre-season.

Right, I'll stop with the Love Island puns. It's time for the action.

No sign of a start...

It seems kick-off has been delayed again.

Chelsea started their match against Wrexham eight minutes later on Wednesday night.

And it seems the same problems have arisen again.

I hear that the kick-off will be at 21:08. Why the eight minutes? I don't get it.

Not so busy Notre Dame

The stadium is not that busy...

Chelsea had troubles in San Francisco selling out the Levi's Stadium, and now the same thing is happening in Indiana.

It's just so, so empty.

Another PL scalp for Celtic?

Oh, they would love to get one over on another English side.

Celtic have already beaten Manchester City in a seven-goal thriller that you just couldn't take your eyes off.

If they play like that again, I just feel they may have too much for Chelsea.

But it's pre-season, so who knows. All fun and games!

Goal time for Guiu?

Marc Guiu will once again lead the line for Chelsea tonight.

The Spaniard made his debut for the club against Wrexham and showed glimpses of what he is about.

But there were times when he was very quiet.

He didn't really test the goalkeeper, but today he will be wanting to make more of an impact.

Just Guiu for goal...(I'm sorry).

'Crazy stadium'

Kieran Gill, Mail Sport, at the Notre Dame Stadium:

Crazy stadium, this. In a good way. There are thousands of Americans outside tailgating, which is cool. Inside, the Chelsea squad are here and it's a strong line-up including Mykhailo Mudryk.

Still no Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall or Axel Disasi, mind. It should be a good game – Celtic beat Manchester City 4-3 in their last friendly.

Maresca seeking first win

It's only his second game to be fair.

But Enzo Maresca will be keen on getting his first win as Blues manager in the books.

The Wrexham draw was not the best (that's being polite), but there were still glimmers of what Maresca ball is.

They will want to show more than glimmers today.

Back in blue

The new home kit gets another use.

Chelsea's blue strip has had various different responses from fans, but not all the best.

What are your thoughts on it?

I get what Chelsea are trying to do, but I'll be honest - I'm not the biggest fan of it.

Just looks like pool water.

New surroundings

The Notre Dame Stadium is stunning.

It's not often that football teams get to play in arenas like this one, so it will feel strange for Chelsea.

The players are just having a little look around to see what they will be dealing with later.

They don't look that happy, though. Cheer up lads!

Celtic Team News - Schmeichel STARTS

Kasper Schmeichel starts in goal yet again for Celtic.

Just like Enzo Maresca, Brendan Rodges makes two changes to his side that beat Manchester City.

Cameron Carter-Vickers and James Forrest are in.

Brendan Rodgers

Chelsea Team News - Mudryk STARTS

Well then, here you go!

Enzo Maresca makes just the two changes from the side that started in the 2-2 draw with Wrexham.

Wesley Fofana and Mykhailo Mudryk both come into the team, with Tosin Adarabioyo and Tyrique George dropping to the bench.

I can't lie, I thought there would be more changes...

Blues arrive in Notre Dame

It looks blooming boiling in Indiana, doesn't it?

Hopefully Chelsea and Celtic have both brought the sun cream, especially the Scots...

The Blues have now arrived at the Notre Dame Stadium, and somehow Enzo Maresca is sporting to a zip-up hoodie.

Which of these stars will be starting?

We will let you know in just a moments time.

British battle in Indiana

Oh, we have a cracker for you this evening.

Yes, it's only pre-season. But it's not often you get to see Chelsea and Celtic face off.

While it may be a friendly, both huge British sides will not treat it like one when they come to blows.

Enzo Maresca is seeking his first win as Chelsea boss in his second match in charge.

Meanwhile, Celtic would love to take the scalp of a major English side.

I can't wait any longer, let's get this show on the road.
