Enzo Maresca's men need to win the two-legged tie if they are to enjoy group stage European football this season.

Discovering new grounds is one of the great pleasures of football but Blues faithful should brace themselves for a disheartening hotdog which costs around £7.20.

Culinary critics were in uproar after seeing the meaty masterpiece on the infamous social media account FootyScran.

'The Swiss must have a neutral palate too. I’d rather eat one of their watches,' one said.

'For £7.20 you’d expect two slices of bread at least ffs,' said another.

One simply said: 'This food made me sad.'

If it is any redemption, the hotdog pictured did come with a small slice of bread and a sachet of ketchup.

At Stamford Bridge, any fan who turns up within 30 minutes of the turnstiles opening can get an early bird deal of £3.50 - under half the price of the Servette disaster.

Chelsea face a hectic start to the season, with matches against Servette on August 22 and 29 fitting into a two-week spell in which they play five fixtures.

Chelsea will play five games in the space of 14 days thanks to their European adventure

The Blues kick off their Premier League campaign on Sunday at home to Manchester City, face Wolves before their European ties, and welcome Crystal Palace just three days after the second leg in Switzerland.

At least their squad size accommodates fighting on multiple fronts - the latest count stands at 43 first-team stars.

And they could add one more in the form of Jadon Sancho, if a report is to be believed.

The Blues are reportedly willing to make a move for the Manchester United dstar, either for a permanent transfer or a loan, as per Fussball.news
