In the final minutes of the 1-1 draw between Brentford and Wolves in the Premier League, Diego Costa was shown a straight red card for headbutting Ben Mee.

This was actually the striker's first red card in 95 Premier League games, although it was the ninth red card in total in his career.

It happened in stoppage time of the game as both players were grappling. VAR called referee Robert Madley over and he decided to send Costa to the dressing room a few minutes before his teammates.

Diego Costa's tough start at Wolves

This was his sixth game back in England after joining Wolves following transfer deadline day.

The 34-year-old hasn't been able to score yet and he'll have to wait a little longer for his first Wolves goal, as he'll now face a suspension.
