Rashford was rumoured to be a serious target for Paris Saint-Germain towards the end of the summer transfer window.
After a tough start, he has shown a serious improvement in his form under new coach Erik ten Hag and now, according to the Daily Mail, it seems the club want to extend the contract of the player who is widely seen as a poster boy for the Manchester United academy.
He has been at the club all his life and burst onto the scene in the Europa League when he was 17 years old. He scored his 100th competitive goal in all competitions during the 1-0 Premier League win over West Ham United at the weekend.
His current deal is set to expire in June 2023 which means that time against the club. There is no suggestion that Rashford wants to leave his boyhood club though.
He has got seven goals and three assists in 15 games for the Red Devils so far this season and has cemented himself as a key forward after such a rough previous season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and then Ralf Rangnick.
Rashford has played an incredible 318 games for the club despite being only 25 years old. The financial details of the proposal are not yet known.
