Madrid dropped points at Betis to fall further behind leaders Barcelona

Lucas Vázquez said after Real Madrid's 0-0 draw at Real Betis -- which left Los Blancos nine points behind leaders Barcelona -- that LaLiga "is not lost" and that they will fight "until the end because, truly", they believe they can "turn it around."

"The team did enough to get something more out of this game," Vazquez said. "We lacked a little bit of accuracy in the final third. We were missing the final pass to have clearer chances to score. We are not happy, not at all."

After Barça beat Valencia earlier on Sunday, Madrid are now nine points behind the leaders, but on whether the league is lost, the Madrid player told Movistar that he believes it is not because we are only "in March" and, although they know it will be "complicated", they are going to "fight until the end because we really believe that we can turn it around."

The Spain international also sent a message to the Madrid fans: "They should have faith in us, we are going to fight for the three competitions we are left in and we are going to go all out for everything."
